Purity: Greater than 95% pure by SDS-PAGE,Coomassie Blue Stain

Serological: 10 ug/ml solution showed linesof identity with 10 ug SEB/ml standard when tested with anti SEB in double immunodiffusionassay. No cross reactivity was observed when tested at 100 ug/ml with anti SEA,SEC, SED, SEE and TSST(sensitivity approximately 5 ug/ml).

Solubility: After lyophilization, the SEBwas re-dissolved to a 1 mg/ml using deionized water. This solution was clear within one minute.

Storage: At -20℃, 1 mg/mlsolution is stable for at least one year

        At 4℃, 1 mg/ml solution is stable for two weeks

        In lyophilized, desiccated form, stable at least 5 years.

三、检测方法

分子生物学方法：

PCR/实时荧光定量PCR：检测金黄色葡萄球菌中是否携带 seb 基因。快速、灵敏，但不能证明活性蛋白的存在。

免疫学方法（zui常用）：

酶联免疫吸附试验：商业化的ELISA试剂盒是检测食品、临床样本或环境样本中SEB蛋白的金标准，灵敏度可达ng/mL级别。

侧向流动免疫层析试纸条：用于现场快速检测，10-15分钟内出结果，但灵敏度低于ELISA。

质谱分析法：

液相色谱-串联质谱：可对SEB进行确证和定量，特异性ji高，常用于仲裁或深入研究。

 生物学活性检测：

细胞增殖实验：利用SEB的超抗原活性，观察其对T细胞或特定细胞系的刺激增殖作用，以确定其生物活性。

公共卫生与食品安全：是主要的食源性致病因子之一，监控食品中的SEB对预防集体食物中毒至关重要。
